Good Afternoon and thank you for signing up for this inaugural event.
This idea came to me when my wife pointed out that my PDGA number (#12824) was an upcoming date (Dec 8th, 2024), and right away, I laughed and thought I needed to put something fun together. I have been dreaming of a fun triples event and always wanted to run something down under, so the Golden Triple Trouble was born. It is my PDGA Birthday, M&M's and Gummy Candies are welcome :)
This is a PDGA Non-Sanctioned event, but overall we will follow the main rules. However, one of the things that we are going to modify is the time to look for your disc. For the 1st Round, which is the best shot triples, you will have 1 minute to find your disc. If you are unable to find it, you have two others to choose from. I would recommend, not picking up your lie until you know 100% you are not using it. For the second round, which is Alternate Triples, we will follow the traditional 3 Minutes for lost discs.
Check-in is from 8 am until 8:45 am at the bench near Hole #9 on the Down Under Course. We will have a short players' meeting around 8:45 am. I will have the hole assignments and scorecards available at TD Central. We will do all scoring via a paper scorecard for this event.

We have approx 1 hour break for lunch.
Round 1 is Best Shot Triples
Round 2 is Alternate Shot Triples
The Top 2 Teams in each division will get a payout which will be distributed via Paypal or Check. If there is a tie for any money spot, we will have a play-off starting hole #9, playing Alternate Triples in the same order that Alternate Triples was played during the round.
