Hi everyone,

I wanted to reach out here in case you missed the email I sent this morning about potential weather issues during our upcoming event. I’ve been keeping a close eye on the forecast, and while playing in the rain is often just part of the sport, as Tournament Director, my priority is the safety of all players and staff.

Unfortunately, The Zip isn’t the safest location when rain sticks around for several days. There are rocky hills, large mud pits that make the tee pads dangerous, and a suspension bridge that could become slippery if muddy. I’ve also seen hail in some forecasts, which could cause serious harm to players and property.

Given all of this, I’ve reached out to our State Coordinator to reschedule for December 7-8. I’ll let you know as soon as we have approval. If this reschedule creates any issues, please reach out, and I’ll be happy to provide a full refund.
