Did you know... Hancock (ball) Golf Course was the very first course in Austin, opening in 1899, and is the oldest course west of the Mississippi. It was home to such legends as Harvey Penick, Ben Crenshaw, and Tom Kite.
And the Annual Waterloo Disc Golf Classic is the longest running disc golf tournament in the Southwestern U.S. and one of the oldest in the world, having never missed a year since the 1st Waterloo in 1978.
This year we are back at the historic Hancock Golf Course again for the 11th time! Austin’s oldest disc golf event plays at Austin’s first ball golf course, a perfect match!
