Hello Brenna! No, everyone will be playing from the long tees. That said, everyone has the option of progressing to the drop zone (short tee) in the case of a water carry. No need to sacrifice a disc if you don't feel you can make it or want to risk it. We debated playing from the short tees, but in a match play situation we want everyone to have the opportunity to have their skills shine through. If one opponent wants to go for it and nails it, their skills are deserving of a win on that hole. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for the question!
