Here is a detailed description of the Friday schedule for Montana State Championships:
2:00-6:00 Check In at Madison Meadows Golf Course, Ennis, Mt
1:30 Check in for State Putting Championships
2:00-4:00 State Putting Championships
$10 per player
3 putts at 4 stations.
Station 1 is worth 1 point per make.
Station 2 is worth 2 points per make,
Station 3 is worth 3 points per make,
Station 4 is worth 4 points per make.
Max total is 30 points.
Payout goes to top 3 in the following divisions:
Open Men, Open 40+, Women, Amateur.
Other divisions will be entertained based on field size.
State Distance Championships:
$10 per player with 3 drives on the Madison Meadows Golf Course Driving Range. Longest Drive per 3 shots will be scored.
Payout goes to top 3 in the following divisions:
MPO, MP40, FPO, MA1, FA2, MA2.
Other divisions will be entertained based on field size.
It should be noted that the wind forecast is showing 40 mph gusts with 25mph sustained.
If the there is no interest in these events due to wind they will be canceled.
Although, we live in Montana and we compete in whatever Mother Nature throws at us.
Game day decision, but don't threaten me with wind field events!!!!!
