Glendoveer is first and foremost a ball golf property. They allow disc golfers to play the Veer layout on the 10th of every month, when it's booked for a tournament, and very rare other occasions like today. I assume their reasoning is that they make far more money from ball golfers than they do from us. I personally feel lucky that they allow disc golf to be on their property at all, the only reason that course exists is because of the tireless efforts of one of their employees who has gotten us as much access as possible.

I'm sure they make way more money from ball golfers. And we are lucky to be able to play on such a beautiful property. If we can walk the course before the tournament, why wouldn't we be able to throw the holes? Maybe I'm missing something?

The property is an active and popular ball golf course, which will have active play during all remaining days leading to the event. The course does not just follow the ball golf holes, it often runs perpendicular and through the trees on the property. For this reason, and others, we have not been allowed by the venue to play the disc golf course at the same time as scheduled tee times for ball golf.
