As a female, I don’t mind playing the longs at all. I think one round on each layout sounds super fun! However, I know that I (as well as a lot of others) will not be able to make either of the island holes from the long pads. We’re basically being forced into an automatic bogey on both of those holes due to the distance. I wonder if there is a way to make a B pool and play the round from the long pads with those two holes from the short pads or not counting as islands from the long pads.
LaChasse Ballard Sep 25, 2024What two holes are you talking about?? 13 and 15 are the only two holes that come to mind but If you can’t throw a driver all the way to them I Think you could still lay up and get par no?

Kesley Sterner, thank you for your imput and you doo have a great point. I will build a 3rd course and put 13 and 15 as shorts for the following Divisions, MA3, FPO, MA4, and age protected divisions. I will leave MA2 on the long layout for this tournament as I believe they should have the power to clear.
Ben Shinn Sep 25, 2024LaChasse Ballard both hole 13 and 15 are island holes you must cross over the road or you will be out of bounds and move to a drop zone.
Kesley Sterner Sep 25, 2024Thanks, Ben!! That’s awesome and much appreciated.
