Hello fellow Disc Golfers!
First things first there has been a change to the tournament tomorrow. In talking with our friends at Brian Head they have started some construction on the property that has made the last three holes of the course unplayable. Furthermore, the weather tomorrow shows a high chance of thunderstorms up at Brian Head. They have told us that if there is lightning within 10 miles of the resort they will close the ski lifts down. If the lifts close down then many of you will not be able to get up and play the course and in so doing ruin the tournament for everyone. I am sorry to say this but because of these circumstances we will be moving the tournament location down the mountain to the Parowan Canyon course. Registration will stay the same but instead of tee times we will be doing a shotgun start at 9:30am just like tournaments before and we will play one round of 27 holes.
I know many of you were excited to play the Brian Head course and many have probably bought lift tickets already. If you did, you can request a refund as long as you do it by tonight 11:59pm on the website. Cash it in to play the course another time. If you were really looking forward to playing Brian head course and do not want to play Parowan Canyon tomorrow all refunds through disc golf scene will be issued if you request them before tomorrow. Again I'm sorry this is the case but in this way we will be able to guarantee playing some disc golf tomorrow.
