This is not me speaking for the TDs this is just my speculation. The only way to reserve the use of the chalet space during lunch time was to make lunch part of the event fee and guarantee a certain number of meals.

Thanks for reaching out Marcus. You are correct that a lunch cannot be included in pass through fees. In our conversation with the PDGA they informed us that a lunch can be included in a players pack value and therefore be included in the 85% minimum. This is the route we have taken for this tournament.

For this event, there is not an option to opt out of the lunch. As with all events we are running, we collect feedback, we reflect and we adjust accordingly for subsequent events.

For those who choose to attend, we hope this event is a memorable one that showcases all the venue has to offer.
