This Friday, July 19th will mark 30 days before the Cedar Creek Open. This is an important date in relation to withdrawals and refunds. According to the PDGA Competition Manual for Disc Golf Events, Section 1.03 Withdrawals and Refunds states that if you withdraw before this date, you are entitled to a 100% refund (minus handling fee). After this date, your refund is dependent on someone taking your spot. As the tournament start date approaches your refund percentage gets smaller if no one takes your spot. Please be aware of these deadlines and percentages. If you would like to read up more on these policies, they can be found here:

Please be aware of these rules. Due to the size and stature of this event, I will be following them closely. I know that many of you have been playing for a long time and these rules haven't always existed, nor have they always been followed closely by every TD since their creation. I also know that many of you are new enough to the game and/or are lucky enough that you've never had to withdraw from an event. None of these things are excuses for not knowing these rules or thinking they shouldn't apply to you.
If you have any questions, please let me know!
