Thank You for playing in the 2024 Throwdown at The Tower sponsored by MVP.
I hope that each of you enjoyed the event.
The raffle this weekend raised $700 that will be donated to Pelotonia for cancer research.
The bag raffle that Mike Badurina ran during Wednesday and Sunday doubles raised $300 for Pelotonia. Thank you to all of the players that participated and donated discs!
I also want to thank the following:
MVP Disc Sports - They donated the basket, the bag, and many of the discs that were raffled off yesterday.
Disc Golf Mart - They donated the raffle prize with a Dri-Fit jersey and a gift card to their store.
Flywear Apparel - Jim made awesome shirts for the event this weekend and donated multiple Dri-Fit shirts for the raffle.
Hocking Hills Disc Golf - They donated a stack of discs on Saturday that we were able to get into the raffle for Sunday.
My wife and son - They helped me run the event this weekend.
Scott Roberts - He helped me get the course cleaned up and helped run the event this weekend.
Jesse & Norma Santiago - They helped run the event this weekend and answered the many, many questions I had over the weeks leading up to the event.
Mike Badurina & Sean Baumann - They helped clean up the course, raised money with the bag raffle at doubles, and helped run the event this weekend.
Stefan Gustovich - He helped run the event this weekend and donated discs for the raffle.
