Week 10 results are posted!
It was a warm, calm evening for our 50 competitors! We played a double mando on Hole 4 (unwind if you missed the mando) and the island on 9.
Despite all the easy basket placements, no one popped off a hot round, but scores were very tight at the top. In the end Abner and Brady won the throw-off for the top spot at -15!
This week was special, as one of my favorite Tuesday Twos moments happened! On the card in front of me, Logan Robinson aced Hole 3; his second ace of the season and back-to-back ace pots! Knowing he had aced again, I suggested that we "stack aces and take half of his ace pot". Abner Glas stepped up to the tee and aced!! The very next shot thrown on the same hole! As soon as he released it, I was yelling for Logan to turn around and watch it go in. ???? Such a cool moment that I manifested! The guys split the $144 ace pot.
Funny enough, Hole 3 was also our Longest Putt competition! Can't get much longer than an ace! The guys very civilly agreed to split the prizes of an Innova Star TeeBird3 and a Next Adventure hat.
Hole 1 was Closest to Pin for a $20 All Day Disc Golf gift card. Matt Nation won the highly competitive competition.
With this being Week 10, we'll start to see the leaderboard get really tight these next few weeks! Only your top 10 weeks count towards your standings, so keep a close eye on what you need to do to get into the Top 18 for the Finals!
