Tournament and Altmaier course update:
I had a discussion with the City of Coralville yesterday and they said the work at Altmaier that has been affecting the disc golf course is almost complete. They were hydroseeding yesterday and today.
Diane and I drove by the course Monday night and it does look different on holes 3 through 6 and they created quite the meander in the creek bed.
They told me that as of now, we can host our tournament as previously planned on Sunday June 30, 2024. The only thing that would cause an issue would be a lot of rain on the course June 27-29. We are hoping for no rain those days.
I am sure everyone is excited about getting back on the course and it was great to hear that those days are near.
