MA1 INFO ON ROUND TWO TEE TIMES
Thank you again for being a part of the 2024 Texas Amateur Championships!
Some of you are aware that there was a lightning delay towards the end of round one. This affected the last three tee times in the MA1 division ONLY. Due to the radar and the possibility of larger storms and endless lightning moving in, we made the decision to stop play for those three groups today. Those groups will finish the last two holes of their first round tomorrow morning at 11:00AM. A two minute horn will blast at 10:58AM for those groups in MA1 to get ready to start their round. Then a start horn will sound at 11:00AM for them to begin.
Once those three groups finish their final two holes of the first round, scores will be sorted and tee times will be posted for MA1. This means tee times for MA1 should be posted by 12:15PM tomorrow at the latest.

Q: But Steven, how do we know when to be at the course if we don't know when our scheduled tee time is?
A: Tee times for the MA1 division will begin at 1:10PM. As long as no one drops out and there aren't any "no shows", there will be two groups of three followed by 4-person groups in the MA1 division beginning at that time.
Q: What time should I arrive at the course?
A: If the first tee time for MA1 will be at 1:10PM then it means tee times for MA1 will go through 2:20PM. 8 total groups in MA1 teeing off every 10 minutes. You can gauge what your tee time might be based on your score. Highest scores from round one go first followed by lower scores.
