Jason Hierwarter May 23, 2024I had to remove divisions that had no players registered once I ordered trophies.
Matt Clark May 23, 2024I have two that want to play MP50. I thought we had until 8 tonight to register.
Jason Hierwarter May 23, 2024You can still register for the tournament. But I reduced the divisions that had no players registered once I ordered trophies.
Jason Hierwarter May 23, 2024MP50 is no longer offered because there were no players registered in that division when I ordered trophies.
Jason Hierwarter May 23, 2024If you are able to have 4 MP50 players register, I will open the division, and I'll order the trophy and ship it to the winner.
Joe Levell May 23, 2024What if NO Trophy isn't an issue for the players that sign up for mp50 ??
Jason Hierwarter May 23, 2024If there are less than 4 players in a division, the division would be removed and players would be moved to a different division or given a refund per CM 2.01L
Jason Hierwarter May 23, 2024I'll go ahead and open MP50. Please know that if there are not 4 players registered in that division when registration closes, anyone in MP50 will be moved to MPO or offered a refund.
Matt Clark May 23, 2024Just thought we had until 8 tonight to register. That's one reason I waited. Also, the other player and myself were trying to see what our weekend schedule was.
Jason Hierwarter May 23, 2024MP50 should now be available to register. As I stated, per CM2.01L, if the division has fewer than 4 players, it will be removed, and players will be moved to MPO or given a full refund.
Joe Levell May 23, 2024So...you would potentially cut the field down to 42 players...in a "B" teir...and go with mpo, am40, am3, am4...?
Joe Levell May 23, 2024Out of 120 spots available?
Jason Hierwarter May 23, 2024I would not be cutting the field. I would be following the Competition Manual and moving the registered players from MP50 to MPO.
I don't see how the "out of 120 spots available" is relevant to the point I've made. You are welcome ...

I don't see how the "out of 120 spots available" is relevant to the point I've made. You are welcome to register for the tournament in MP50 as I have stated, knowing that if less than 4v players register, it will be removed and players will be moved to MPO or refunded in accordance with the PDGA Competition Manual 2.01L.
Matt Clark May 23, 2024MA50 only has 3 players. Do they have to move up?
Jason Hierwarter May 23, 2024Are you planning on playing in the AM division?
Jason Hierwarter May 23, 2024I thought we were talking about a pro division that was playing for cash payouts.
Jason I can play either division because I'm not a pro with a high rating. I was just wondering if t ...

Jason I can play either division because I'm not a pro with a high rating. I was just wondering if these rules applied to the other divisions without having to pull up the rule in the competition manual.
Jason Hierwarter May 23, 2024Division reduction is at the sole discretion of the TD.
Jason Hierwarter May 23, 2024...if the division has fewer than 4 players.
Matt Clark May 23, 2024Yes, I just read that. I might come play AM. I just wanted I81 series points for the division I usually play in. Appreciate all you and other TDs do. Might see you Saturday Jason.
Jason Hierwarter May 23, 2024I81DGS points is actually a great reason for me to keep a division open. I would have recommended you given that a reason when you first made the request. Rather than the merry round ride we went on.
Matt Clark May 23, 2024Wow. Didn't think that was a merry round ride.
Jason Hierwarter May 23, 2024If you are competing for I81 DGS points in MP50, I will happily leave that division open with fewer than 4 players.
