Stiles can go more in depth if he’d like, but in a nutshell: Your team is seeded 1-5. In the morning each card will be made of four 1 seeds, four 2 seeds, etc. who will each play a 9 hole matchplay match against each other card member. A1 vs B1 and C1 vs D1, then switching once those matches are complete to be B1 vs C1 and D1 vs A1, and finally C1 vs A1 and B1 vs D1. Then all cards return to HQ to report scores, we sort out standings and determine which team moves where on the bracket for the next round.

At lunch, while everyone is being fed, we figure out how each team placed within each bracket. The winners of each bracket get paid. The top two teams from each bracket get placed into an eight team single elimination tournament to determine the ultimate winner. The third place teams get placed into a four team single elimination bracket as do the fourth place teams.

Everyone plays another match and then we figure out who won. All the winning teams move on and the the losing teams are done for the day and get to go enjoy food coming off the grill and maybe a beer.
