I didn't realize that anyone of any rating can play in an age protected division. The first one I looked at was a 963 rated player that has played MP40 and MPO for 10+ years, but I didn't bother to check all the other players on the list. No worries. I thought I was informing everyone, but I was wrong. :-) Carry on.

I see the confusion. The player in question is still classified as an amateur, even though he has played tournaments in a professional division. Playing professional divisions does not change your classification. Accepting cash winnings for a professional division dies and brings the caps into play. If cash is never accepted, then one is still considered an amateur and can switch freely.
