Pdga Rule: Lightning - lightning can strike within 10 miles of a storm. Accordingly, TDs should observe a 15-mile safety radius around a tournament location during the event. Any lightning strike within 15 miles will suspend play. Play is to be suspended for 30 minutes after the last strike within 15 miles and can resume thereafter.
