I re-read the description, the passes are non-transferable or refundable, so that’s a dumb question. I’m really just frustrated that I didn’t realize I would be buying a GA pass for each tee time (even though it says “each”).

But since I bought multiple tee times I guess that means I get multiple discs

I think it’s sticker shock on my part; we’re nearing the types of fees normally seen in ball golf and that’s not the norm in disc golf.

The description says the tee times come WITH a GA ticket not that we will be charged 100-200% of the cost in additional fees per ticket. I can understand requiring each person who schedules tee times to also buy a GA ticket but that was not communicated clearly and makes this feel like a sort of bait and switch.

With that said, I am happy to pay for a GA ticket. It’s just unfortunate that we are forced to buy 2 if we want to play both courses. And that the original description makes it seem like that GA ticket is included in the tee time fee of $50.

Totally agree. I’m happy to support. If they advertised this event in the description with “Cost: $100. Each tee time comes with a GA ticket” I wouldn’t be commenting here. I might not have agreed to multiple rounds but I would have had all the information to make that decision. We were baited with one cost and switched to another at the point of sale. I know it likely wasn’t intentional but it doesn’t feel very good from this side of the transaction.

For 2024 we decided to include the GA for the day with the tee time as an added value. We haven’t increased the price of the greens fee, only added that you no longer need to purchase a ticket to spectate before or after your round. Last year, we asked people to purchase a ticket separately or leave after their round concluded. It was difficult to manage who had a pass and who just had a tee time. I hear you that you feel like you’re paying for something that is unnecessary. We believe that the spectator tee time experience we’re providing is worth the value here – a unique opportunity to play two DGPT courses on event week in full competition mode, spectate disc golf, and an event stamped disc. Just to reiterate - last year tee times were the same price - $50 and included a disc. This year the same is true, but we’re no longer requiring people to purchase a separate ticket to spectate.

Brian, I appreciate the response and understand the intent of including GA passes for the date of the tee time. I guess what I’m confused about is why I was charged $844 for 8 tee times across 5/27 and 6/1. If I’m reading your comment correctly, I should have only been charged $400 (along with the associated fees). I could be misunderstanding your comment, so please let me know if I am.

I think I’m even more confused now. Haha. I totally get what you are saying Brian and think this is a unique experience that I am excited to participate in. I just want to know what it costs. Is it $50 as stated in the description and as you just reiterated in your comment or is it $50 + $50 as we are seeing when checking out ?

Tim Clarke - You're right - I will refund you that additional fee. I did not see that it was listed in the 'General' division drop down menu. I think what happens was that we were discussing the options for page set up and did not reset the fees correctly. One way to set this page up is to charge a "division" fee and then make all of the tee times $0, which allows us to use a discount code for things like "volunteer round" or "twilight price" but would not allow us to host multiple days on one registration link (we would have had to set up 7 of these pages). The other method is to do as we've done here, with a "general" division that SHOULD have been $0, and then each "option" aka tee time having a fee associated with it. It's more work on the front end that way (I have to list every tee time as an additional "option" on the set up page) but allows us to host all of the tee times for the week on one page.

TL;DR I made an administrative mistake and you may have been charged an additional fee. I will reconcile all the purchases that were made before the error was fixed and issue refunds. Thanks for your patience!
