The Grand River Union Club had a booth at the Somerset Earth Day Celebration this year on 4/20. Despite the wind and cold, it was well attended by the community.

We had a basket set up and invited everyone to putt around and try out disc golf. Thanks to generous donations from Ben Calhoun at the Throw Shop at Lakeshore, and Bo Fought who both donated stacks of discs, as well as a few other smaller donations, we were able to give away almost 30 discs and minis to local kids and families.

Thanks also to Bree for braving the cold with me to bring disc golf to the community.
