Still getting the word out about the league, but we did get three folks out there. Thanks to Jared for jumping up to B pool so there would be SOME competition. Beautiful wind-free conditions, and the water seems to be finally draining off the course in most spots. No more ponds/rivers on holes 6 and 7!

There were a couple of blazing starts, with Joe Caissie playing the first 7 holes at 4 under, and Joseph Goyette with a bogey-free one under. Hole 9 bit everyone almost as much as the black flies, but Jared and Joe Caissie bounced back by getting their drives to C1 on hole 10. Joe Goyette was playing that one for the first time, and even though he misjudged the drive, he put his approach to 35 feet and nailed the death putt. Both Joes nailed at least 3 C2 putts.

In the end Joe Caissie shot a -4 to win, but also finish last in, A Pool, while Goyette shot an extremely respectable for his first time at 501 +6 to beat Jared for B Pool.
