If your finish qualifies you, you will receive an invitation to their Austin championships in the fall. A few folks I played with had been to the Austin event, enjoyed it, and planned to go back. I qualified w/ MA40 win but did not go... no big deal. I don't know if it's all events but I also received an invitation to NADGT Finale in FL which I think was an invitation Pro only event. When I spoke with one of the coordinators he shared that one objective is for more people to make their way from Am to Pro. Anyway, the one I played was a well run tournament and I don't need to win more discs.

Thats a good point. I am in a similar boat and just probably wouldn't want to spend all the money associated with the trip but I still want to win the tournament just to win... but I would hate to deny someone who was playing just to win the invite because I doubt you can give your invitation away. Although if you could I would pass it to second if I won... At Greek Peak there was a guy who drove 3 hours to play just to try and earn the invitation so there are definitely some out there that want that prize...
