Grand River Union is planning on participating in the McCourtie Park Earth Day Celebration on 4/20 at McCourtie Park from 10am til 2pm. I'm pretty sure it is on the other side of the park across the river, but I'm not positive.
We would like to set up a booth with a basket so that people can putt around and experience disc golf a little and we would like to give kids discs. The club has some discs already (Thanks to Ben Calhoun at the Throw Shop at Lakeshore), but if you would like to donate any putters or midrange discs that would be good for kids and novices, you can bring them to league this Sunday for Doubles at Jackson College or to McCourtie Park next Thursday for singles.
