Why did reg close so early for this? Was keeping an eye on the weather and didn't want to sign up to soon if the rain doesn't clear out in time. Will you take walk ups the day of?

I am also slightly confused by the early close for registration. Especially with the tourney not being full and then also not taking walk ups. Seems like you would want as many players as possible.
