Mike, Thank you for your input. This is the first year for this tournament and believe it or not it is much harder than people think to coordinate between the Come-See-Me board, city, Winthrop, and Innova and get everyone on the same page. Being the first year of the tournament we wanted to purposely keep it small with the possibility to build it up in future years. Several scenarios were talked about including layouts, numbers of players and what courses to use. That being said, I don't feel it was missed opportunity as we have added another tournament to Rock Hill and on a property that there has never been a Tournament besides a Major Championship. We are just grateful that Winthrop has allowed us to be on the property. Also there was no guarantee that the Meadows Course would be able to stay up past the end of the tournament and the gold course layout with OB is a course that will probably not be part of any tournament other than Major Championship course with its length and OB is not skill appropriate for all levels. These layouts were specifically made for the College Championships and we are honoring that so that event just like USDGC keeps its prestige. Jeromy and I are open to suggestions for future years and are open to feedback, but please in the future email us instead of clogging up the message board which will be used for announcements.
