Few reminders:
Don't be late. It's your responsibility to be on time. Tee off is 9am SHARP. If you are late it is Par +4 until you arrive and you can not join a hole in progress, you must wait for the next hole. Even if you are walking up before they leave the box.
The plan is to have the temp holes out by 8am.
We are full so please try to Car Pool or park in one of the extra lots. Also please keep the pace of play up as with a large group on every hole you can affect the entire event with slow play.
Use caution! In the parking lot, on the course and especially around casual park patrons. Safety is the #1 concern. When in doubt wait
Remember we added a lot of OB to the course. Most holes have a line between them so make sure you take a look before you throw.
While the Caddy book is really nice, remember the PDGA scoring app is the one we follow. If for some reason there would be a discrepancy PDGA would be the call. We recommend only using the PDGA scoring app during the event unless you want to see a fly through.
We do reuse fly through videos for events so remember they might not be exact for your hole
We did add a page to the Caddy Book to cover the CTPs for the event so make sure to check that out as well.
I will have scorecards available in the parking lot before the event if you would like to use one instead of PDGA scoring. We WILL NOT accept Udisc for this event. It helps us a ton if you use the PDGA app or we will take paper as well.
AM Players packs will go out by email after the 1st round starts. If you are playing and do not receive one please see staff at Hazy Shade. Remember this is sent to the email you use in DGS.
Finally we painted about 5 miles of lines this week and dropped flags on them for you. It would help us a ton if you would pick up any flags you see after the event on your way back to the lot. Please help us by leaving the park nicer than when we came. This goes a long way with the parks departments.
Again everything should be in the Caddy Book but if you have any questions please ask by email or find me in the lot tomorrow before the event.
Thanks for playing
