Jeff, Rubber mats will become very slick in rain, I will be walking the course tomorrow to see how the water drains, also the main holes now have tee pads. I will also make sure the day of the conditions and adjust tee pads if there is anything I think maybe unsafe

The course drains well due to it being an old ball golf course. There are 4 concrete tee pads on the rose gold layout. Since everyone is playing 2 from the gold that means there will be 5/18 concrete pads for the rose gold. 10/18 concrete pads for the gold layout divisions. There is a typical rule for slippery tee pads, where an TD can allow 1 meter left and right of the tee pads for better footing where the tee pads are slick. The tee pads without concrete do have worn spots and are slick after it rains. It’s not hard to find a good grassy spot within 1 meter left or right of the tee pads to avoid slipping as much. You also get 3 meters (12ft) behind the front line of the tee pad. With this larger tee area isn’t not hard to find a grassy area for better grip. Using these rules to your advantage and ensuring you find a good spot for your plant food is a great tip for the round and will be addressed in the players meeting.
