Players,
After speaking with staff and sponsors regarding our lower than anticipated turnout, we have decided to make a few difficult changes to our event and schedule. We are no longer using Zebulon, as it is not needed to support the number of players in the field. Our schedule for all players will now be two shotgun rounds on Saturday and one tee time round on Sunday. Friday will now be a practice day for everyone to get a chance to play the temp course at East Clayton. Unfortunately this also warrants a change from A-tier to B-Tier. We understand that this may affect everyone's decision to play in this event so we will be refunding $25 to every entry. Pro entry will now be $75 and Amateur entry will be $50. If you no longer want to play in the event, we will be happy to give you a full refund. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause and hope this won't deter you from playing this event in the future (I'll try not to schedule it on Easter Weekend next year). Please let us know if you want to be removed from the event. I will process all refunds Monday evening, March 4. After that time, we will return to the standard refund policy (section 1.03 in the PDGA Competition Manual).

I mean there is still 3 weeks left till the tournament. Seems like a lil early to make this call. I feel like a lot of people wait till a week left to sign up.

100% Just look at the registration for the midtown. With all the flex starts and this website, people just hang back more nowadays.
