Hey all
There have been questions about the schedule and so I am going to sticky note it here, and I'll send an email out.
If I was building cards right now with the 18 people we have I would break it down like this:
First card would be MJ18, MA3 and FA3 as a card of 5 at 8am
Second card would be the MA2s 820am
Third card would be the MA40s 840am
Fourth card would be MA1 and MA50 at 9am
Plan on 3 hours to play a shortened 18 hole version of the course. Then 1 hour for lunch. As soon as the card is submitted, the 1 hour clock begins, so these next times are approximate. It may only take 2 and a half hours, and in that case, the round 2 start would move up a half hour. Everyone will get an hour for lunch before their 2nd round begins.
12pm - MJ18, MA3 and FA3
1220 - MA2
1240 - MA40s
1pm - MA50/MA1
Again, it is 3 hours to play, so last card should finish up at 4pm. Sunset shows to be at 7:07 so plenty of daylight to get everyone in. We will do awards ceremony as divisions complete and scores are verified, so not everyone needs to wait until the last card is finished.
This is a very tentative schedule, tho, because if we have more players sign up, times may be adjusted. However the first tee time is going to be 8am for the MJ/MA3 division to start us off regardless. Tee times may get shortened to every 15 minutes as opposed to every 20.
Trinidad does have some cost effective places to stay overnight if you want to make the drive the night before. Twisted Cedars will allow for participants to stay overnight on site and all they ask is that you be respectful of the land, pack out your trash, and if you are able to, a kind donation to the course for future improvements. The donation is optional and not required.
As we get closer to the event, I will update you all more. As it stands right now, the earliest tee time is going to be 8am for those that want to plan.
