As far merch sales go, you might be interested to know that for the first almost 10 years of the event, the tournament discs and apparel weren't even part of payouts. NONE of the payouts went to the event. It was all J&J, Airborn, Dynamic Discs (a couple times), etc. Only in the last few years, by request of players, did I allow people to redeem their funny money with CCO. Even now a vast majority of funny money still gets spent with our other vendors. And guess what? Even then I take literally ZERO dollars of that money. I personally LOSE money every single year running this event for players. Every bit of the money that players spend (funny money or cash) on CCO stuff goes right back into the tournament - payouts, player packs, rentals, course maintenance, etc. I take nothing.

And finally, speaking of payouts. Even with only 50 MPO players, CCO still has some of the best payouts in MN. Over the last 10 years, I believe the only tournament in MN (other than the DGPT) that has had larger cash payouts is the Majestic.
