When I used to work there each person had to go through the entry process. Each person has to have everything they owned and themselves sanitized before they were allowed into the community beyond the doors. While their things were being sanitized they were given new socks and underwear. So that’s why we ask for new ones. If you want to bring other things to donate I’m sure we can have it arranged to be dropped off or you’d be welcome to go check it out at their Gateway Store where the long term residence get to shop!
