If you weren't aware...
Hole 4 was removed by the PDGA last night. Thusly lowering most of our ratings for the event.
As the first card finished we were told it was because "someone couldn't make the island, picked up their discs and went to the next hole and continued playing".
When I explained this is actually a DNF on that players part and the rest of the field shouldn't be punished for one player the reason quickly changed to "well there is also a High Wind Warning and a hanging limb on the hole which is a safety issue".
If there was a High Wind Warning oddly the National Weather Service knew nothing about it and of there was a safety issue on the hole why did every card on the field continue to play it?
I highly suggest we all submit Event Feedback through the following link and attempt to get the hole readded and the one player DNFd.. as it should be
