To be clear: Hole 4 was removed by me, with prior PDGA approval. This was due specifically to the large branch hanging near Circle 1 that had previously been declared a Relief Area. This area was serving as a common landing zone for many shots due to the sustained 20 MPH winds, which increased significantly as the day went on. This made the hole unsafe, and therefore unplayable. Furthermore, the January ice storm which caused much of the tree damage greatly impacted the design intent of the hole, again making it unplayable in the high winds. Many people's ratings moved no more than a point or 2. 1 person lost more than 10 points and I let that person know ahead of time that that may occur. I did the best I could given the circumstances and ultimately I made the decision that I felt kept people the safest. I am sorry if my decision negatively impacted your experience.

mine went down... and again if there was a safety issue on the hole why did every card in the field play it? why when you took 45 minutes to setup the confusing OB flags didn't you see it and take the hole out then? why didn't you say anything to us when we had you walk the hole to explain the confusing ob? or how about when we were on Hole 10/11 you didn't say anything either? seems safety was only a concern after someone DNFd and was allowed to continue to play... you didn't get a waiver for the hole like you should have and had an illegal hole. at least say that and stop blaming other factors that weren't actually in existence
