I wanted to make sure to post something about the Ice Bowl waiting list. We are overjoyed that people want to help with our annual fundraiser for Food Finders, and the weather looks incredible for a February tournament. We had to make a few decisions about the wait list and I want to be 100 percent clear with you how we will be handling this. Please read carefully below about what we will be doing:
We have decided for reasons of pace of play and capacity for Murdock Park, we are going to limit the event to 88 participants.
As people drop from the tournament we will go down the list in order of people who joined the wait list to populate the tournament. That being said, if you decide to drop out of the tournament before Saturday, please let myself or Andrew Buess know ASAP. I will do my best to update discgolfscene ASAP on Saturday morning (hopefully by 7am) if we have overnight drops.
If we have no shows on Saturday, you are welcome to come to the tournament and be on stand-by for no shows. If you do this, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to get in to the tournament. If you are running late, please message me so we can make sure everything is dealt with equitably. In order to complete the event, we would like everyone to have checked in no later than 9:40am.
You must be registered by the end of registration to be on stand by. We are not taking walk ups.
If you are signed up on the waiting list and do not get into the tournament, you will get a full refund.
