We had 12 players come out to Big Portage Lake for 18 holes of Doubles this Sunday. It started off a little rainy but it cleared and it was muddy but relatively warm and dry for the rest of the day.
The good conditions were reflected in the scores. Big Country and Dave Buckley topped the field with a -13 with some help from Big Country's forehand Glow Gator Ace on hole 14. They got $40 for the win and $131 for the Ace. Randy and Tpills battled them all round but ultimately couldn't keep up with the Ace and Dave's clutch drives so their -12 was only good enough for second place and $20 cash.
Big Country's ace was good enough to also get the CTP on hole 14 for another $12 and Caleb took the $12 CTP on hole 3.
Ace Pool is at $32. We will be at Ella Sharp Park next Sunday December 24th at 1pm. Weather is looking better for next week. Fingers crossed. See you all out there!
