The 2nd round was not solely cancelled due to severe weather. With multiple cards not finishing their 1st round until nearly 2PM, there is no way we could have had an adequate 30-45 minute break and finished before dark at 4:45ish. There were also lightning within 15 miles around 2PM, meaning there was uncertainty on when we could have even started round 2. While it did not storm again, there are currently lightning strikes right around the 15 mile mark from the course and we would be forced to stop play again if it moves any closer. Add that to the darkness issue, we still believe Round 2 would not have finished. Appreciate you coming out and sorry that there were weather issues.
