We had 13 people come out to Ella Sharp Park this Sunday for 18 holes of real Winter Disc Golf. It snowed, it was cold, it was wonderful.
Huge thanks to the card that blazed the way and cleared and salted the pads. Casey, Randy, Dennis and Jimmy made the day much better for everyone playing league and even the card of casuals that snuck in behind them.
Apparently clearing the pads results in instant karma because Casey and Dennis shot a -5 to take home the win and $45, with Randy and Jimmy shooting a -4 and taking second for $20. Nice shooting in the snow!
The $26 CTP on hole 18 went to Conner Lackey's big drive. The disc CTP on hole 14 went to Freeland with his super close park job that edged out his son. The disc CTP was a sweet 20 year Buzzz donated by Coach Rob. Thanks for the donation!
We did ok on time this week, but be aware of your pace of play. Also, please use your head and try to avoid throwing white discs in the snow.
