Week 6
It was a little windy and chilly, yet comfortable. We played from the blue (long) tees on 1-9 and 16-18 (12 holes).
• Blake Hohlbein (MPO) had the hot round at even par (E). This is the first time in the history of our league that the hot round hasn't been under par. Blake had 4 birdies, but got eaten up by the island holes and an OB left on hole 7.
• #shotoftheday Michael Jones threw a direct laser beam from Drop Zone 1 on hole 16 to SLAM CHAINS for an AMAZING birdie!
• Liam E Foreman went long-right over the fence off the tee of 18 with a roadrunner, which is absolutely insane!
• Out of the 120 holes that were played, there were only 8 birdies. Holes Birdied: 1, 4, 6, 7, 8 (x2), 9, and 16. This means 2, 3, 5, 17, and 18 (42% of the course) were not birdied.
• COMEBACK of the DAY: Michael Jones started on 17 and was +3 through 2 holes. He then settled in and birdied 1, battled through holes 2-9 shooting +4 for the stretch, and capped off the round with the amazing birdie on 16! #mentaltoughness
• Jayse Land (MJ18) was the only player to make the island on hole 3. The #islandboy gets the High School win for Lenawee Christian! He made island 1 on 16 as well!
