Rob. No. It is not best shot after the tee shot. All 3 players have the option to throw from every lie. But once a player throws a shot, the previous shot from that lie can no longer be used. In the senerio that Devin described above, once player C threw, player B's shot can no longer be used. When player A throws, then player C's shot can no longer be used, meaning the team would have to use player A's shot. In this senerio, it would be in the best interest of the team to have player A throw, or else they are playing from player C's terrible shot/missed putt.
