Welcome to The 2023 DGMT Finale Supported by Innova Generated By Grit Discs
This is your tournament director Callie McMorran. In this email you will find the course layout, caddy book, link to the tee-times (will be posted tomorrow), link to live scoring, projected payout, event sponsors, and more.
First, I want to thank you all for participating in this event! The DGMT has been an amazing success this season and we are looking forward to many more years!

Hole assignments:
Here is the link to your tee-time, if this is your first PDGA Tournament please note that your tee-time can change before the event starts. ( I still have people dropping out). Also, note that your tee-time will likely change for rounds 2, 3 & 4. When you click on the link scroll down to your name, by your name will be a number under the “tee-time” column. This is the time you will be starting. Please arrive at hole 1 at least 10 mins before your tee-time.

Check-in:
(11-4)Please arrive at the course with plenty of time to go through the check-in process before the players meeting. When you arrive you will need to come to Birdie's Bar and Grill to check in behind the North Cove Pro Shop and grab your players pack. If you haven't played in one of my events before please note that I have A LOT of products to look through. So please allow yourself time to get what you want. We have lots of items for sale.
Players Meeting:
5-6pm Wednesday at Birdies Bar and Grill, You will want to be here to get all the updates for the event. Food and drinks will be available for purchase along with two kegs. (There will be beer!)
Live Scoring:
Here is the link to the live scoring website. On every card two players will be required to keep score through this website. Yes, I said two. The PDGA has just changed the website so that two players can keep score at the same time. This allows the website to check for errors as you play your round. If you haven’t already please download the new PDGA app. This app is a game changer with live scoring and it has a built in rule book that you can use the search engine to navigate easily during your rounds.
Access code to live scoring will be given out prior to you teeing off for round 1.

Food for the event:
Food will be available starting on Wednesday at 3pm and will be available throughout the week.

Qualifier:
If you're playing in the qualifier please check-in at Birdie's bar and grill before your round. We will be using UDisc for scoring and once you finish the qualifier you will get the registration code for the finale.
After round activities:
Poker Event - Thursday/Sunday night at Birdies. This will be the final DGMT event of the weekend! We will have custom chips and table toppers and a full bar to boot! The event is a $50 minimum buy in with a $200 maximum. You will have the ability to buy in twice. This event will be a Texas hold’em style event with dedicated dealers at each table. This event is 21 and older. Register at Birdies.
Trivia Night - Friday night will be host to a fantastic night of trivia and bourbon/whisky tasting sponsored by Blue Ridge Distillery. Prime Rib dinner will be available for purchase to all players that would like to attend. The trivia will be more pop culture with music, geography, and a little bit of nerd mixed in. Sign up as a single or put down a team name for double the fun!! Register at Birdies.
Disc In The Dark (Glow Golf) - Wednesday - Saturday. Glow golf will be each night this week (Wednesday-Saturday) and sponsored by Disc in the Dark! This event will be played on the River Run course and it will be a glow experience like you’ve never seen! Baskets will be lit with Disc in the Dark LEDs, Fairy lights will light pathways, and they will have their Halo Black Lights to help light your discs! Bring the whole family out!!
Tennis Event - Thursday Night prior to trivia. North Cove will have brand new courts installed and we will be one of the first groups to have an event! We will have room for 20 teams and will rotate groups of 4 throughout the time allotted. This is one of the hottest new sports and we are super excited to host!
Players Party/ Fly Mart - This is open to everyone. Lots of items will be for sale with many vendors. Saturday night!
