One quick note about handicaps…up until this point, they’ve mostly been calculated using an arbitrary number provided by DG Course Review based on how they think a 1000-rated player would perform on the course. In an effort to be as accurate as possible, I will be abandoning the DG Course Review scores from my calculations and instead use the top 25% of UDisc scores for each course and layout instead. There’s no need to use an arbitrary number when UDisc maintains an active all-time leaderboard for every course in its registry. I suspect that most people’s handicaps will increase as a result, so don’t be alarmed if that’s the case..
