Hi Bill, with the way the rules are set up you at best can only prevent non-members from playing by sanctioning the tournament as a B-Tier, which Old Farm is not equipped to accommodate. Both players were PDGA members. And the winning scores were on par with previous years winning scores for Purple (I personally was disappointed in my +3 second round as I left a lot of strokes inside the circle). I personally run into this a lot playing other tournaments across the state. It comes with the territory of playing in the lowest division. The good news is that we all had fun and a whole field of players has another set of data points to give the most accurate rating possible.
