Thanks to all who played CSO AM weekend.
Couldn't have asked for better weather or a better group of folks to be around for the last few days. The course was in the best condition I've seen it in 7 years and that was in no short part due to a lot of long hours from volunteers amongst the community.
To those of you who showed up and rang the bell at county meetings for Creekside's importance to the community - thank you. We will continue to pound the drum for further influxes in cash to local courses - I think that this weekend was a testament to the importance of this course to the community at large.
Huge shoutouts are due -
Scott Belchak - Thanks for being an excellent mentor in the world of being a TD. Couldn't have done it without your guidance.
Nick Lopez - Your work on the course re-design has been nothing short of incredible. The overwhelming response to the new holes has been so positive and we all owe you infinite amounts of chocolate milk.
Jacob Beach - Thanks for being such a solid co-TD and so knowledgeable in regulations and safe course design.
Congrats to our division winners! There were a LOT of close divisions, a few playoffs, and a ton of excitement down the stretch.
Some fun stats for you - the course played very close to even par across the field for all three rounds - so great work to those who went low in any division.
Averages:
R1: (Par 73) - Average - 73.04
R2: (Par 73) - Average - 72.83
R3: (Par 59) - Average - 58.94
Event average: 0.20 strokes under par.
Final note: I took a metric ton of photos yesterday, and will try and have those done in the next week or so. Prep for Pro weekend is happening as I type, so my plate is a bit full!
Again, nothing but gratitude to all players, volunteers, and the community at large.
