Out of two rounds a total of 36 throws are thrown from tee pads. That’s at the bare minimum 1/3 of throws. If people don’t join a very well run tourney all because of tee pads then so be it. Those people are the ones missing out on a great time run by a good dude for a good cause.

It's a sanctioned tournament Ethan. The tee shot is the most important part of every hole. Not only does it matter for the quality of play, it also matters for risk of injury. There's no problem with anyone that still wants to play if pads aren't in, but the fact is, pads were promised for this event, and if they aren't in yet, there will more than likely be people dropping out.
