You guys all fucking rule. Thank you to everybody who came out today and played, bought raffle tickets, and just contributed to such a great and positive vibe in Showboat Park.
As you guys know, your buy-ins for the tourney go right back to the field in pay-outs. This fundraiser works on the 50/50 hole, and the raffle. This year, those two things, thanks to YOU ALL, raised us $1537 to put into the club fund. This brings us up to a current total of $6200 on the dot! We’re not too far from our basket goal, and some of that will need to go towards the new signs. All of that will hopefully be happening at the same time. Probably the spring.
So, now for the future. As you all know, October is always our charity fundraiser. Each year we have brought our community together to raise THOUSANDS of dollars for amazing causes. Every year has been so successful and this year I hope is no different. This year we will be donating the proceeds to an animal shelter. We have one we are targeting, but official plans need to be nailed down. I’m so excited, and those of you with little fur-buddies will be able to get behind this one.
