If someone drops from the registration, the number one waitlist player is notified via email of a spot opening up for them. If you are not number one, you will not be notified until that number of people have dropped out of the tournament. Waitlist players even at the number one spot have no guaranteed spot in an event because there is no way to know if people won't show up on the day of. If I removed you from the waitlist, you should have already received your refund.
