According to weather.gov, Saturday Aug 5th was tied for the 5th hottest day ever in Hattiesburg Mississippi. The temp topped out at 104°. This was the hottest August 5th that Hattiesburg has ever seen.

The tournament staff did a great job preparing and precautioning for the heat. I had 9 bottles of water and there was still plenty at each station at the end of the day. Thanks to the TD, staff, and Play it Again for the solid event.

Next year, lets get a cold plunge set up between rounds. I would put up a disc for whoever spent the longest in 34° water!
