I've been playing tournaments in the area for over 10 years and usually they close 2-3 weeks before not 6. I always look forward to playing this every year, just didn't realize the cutoff was this early.

Smaller tournaments tend to close later. Bigger tournaments take much more preparation , especially when the use of a state park is involved. Farragut needs #s well ahead of time. Vendors had to get their info in before the beginning of July. Just many more moving parts in this tourney.

Hey Jason, are there going to be anymore spots opening or was this final? I understand the high volume of players needs more time to set it up, but that i remeber ive never seen Faragut close so early in the past.
