I played all 18 last night and had the pleasure of running into Don and Danielle as I approached my birdie putt on hole 5. The course looks great! I will be playing here a couple nights a week from now on. The majestic oak trees provide shade while serving as obstacles on this urban park property. There was a twosome about 4 holes ahead of me and we stopped and chatted when our paths crossed at the tees of 13 and 17. Locals who were elated that the course was open. The baskets are just a little lower than I’m used to, which means you can run every putt. I like that touch. The course was damp because of the heavy rain from the night before. When dry, this is going to be even more enjoyable.
