I still think its fair, 5 round average ensures you don't get "penalized" for 1 really hot round, your hcap will only increase a little. I'm kinda in the same boat as you, where I would have to shoot my best round ever to be able to have a shot at best adjusted score. I think its important to also look at HCAP trend, and you sir are on a downward score trend because you keep shooting better and better on average, and thats AWESOME.
