Gather round and grab yourself a listen. You better sit down for this one or at least find a comfortable place to stand. I am ready to give the details so pay attention and take notes. It was a night of high flying fun. We had a record setting attendance night on Thursday as 82 frisbee flippers showed up and got down with disc golf dominance. It was a nothing short of awesomeness and the action was non-stop, from the bottom to the top. Lets hear how it all played out.
Many a birdie was found this night as the basket attack was constant. But at the top of the heap was none other than 'The Kid' himself. The team of Dallas Garber DG and Brian Shaw set the pace and finished the race with a score of -16 for the win. Hot-diggity-dog! Not far behind was a familiar face on the leaderboard of this dubs league........Chase Estep and partner Jim 'I have been playing longer the Dallas has been alive' Morehead with a -15 showing. To finish out the podium for the night we had deal our way through 6 teams at -14!! After the showcase throwdown is was the team of Bryan Hoerr and Zach Palmquist sitting in 3rd place. Nice job peeps. Keep up the birdie grabbing and snag those all important points.
The Top Flight Disc Golf long Smash of the season contest saw a 144ft toss hit its mark. Dan Martinez won the night and now sits in 2nd place for the season long toss challenge. Keep those deep tosses frosty and the next big smash could be you. Be sure to thank Zach Todd and Francis Adzima for making this contest that much more of a smash hit.
